DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME COMES TO AN END ON NOVEMBER 6TH
Sunday, November 6th – 2:00 AM
It’s that time of year again to “Fall Back”. Don’t forget that at 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 6th, you will need to turn your clocks back one hour, marking the end of Daylight Saving Time (DST). It is recommended to turn your clocks back before bedtime.
Fire Rescue also recommends changing the batteries in your smoke alarms/detectors and carbon monoxide detectors at the same time. When those items are in working order – they save lives!
This is also usually a time we get some calls to reset time on servers, phone systems, alarm systems and even the occasional alarm clock. A few other things to think about are pool timers, thermostats, security camera DVR’s and other automatic timers.
